The three most visible Churches with spread all over Nigeria are:

1. The Roman Catholic Church.

2. The Redeemed Christian Church of God.

3. The Living Faith Church Worldwide aka Winners' Chapel International.

*The Living Faith Churches (Winners' Chapel) display red and white signboards.

1. Catholicism arrived in the territory that would come to be known as Nigeria with Portuguese explorers in the 15th century though largely unsuccessful and virtually disappeared by the 17th century. Modern Catholic missions however, were established by priests from Lyon in 1865 (152 years ago), beginning in Lagos.
As at 2017, there are about 25 million catholics in Nigeria.... in about 2,400 parishes and outposts.

2. The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) was established from a 'white garment' group in Lagos in 1952 (65 years ago).
RCCG intends to have one parish planted within 5 minutes walking distance all over Nigeria.
As at 2017, there are about 8 million Redeemers in Nigeria.....in over 26,000 parishes.

3. The Living Faith Church Worldwide was commissioned in Kwara on September 17 1983 (34 years ago).
Winners' Chapel intends to have one branch within 2 kilometres all over Nigeria and Zones all over Lagos/Ota where a central church (Faith Tabernacle) is located.

As at 2017, there are about 5 million 'Winners' in Nigeria......in over 7,000 Branches. Delta State alone has 505 branches.
